| Recording and patching requirements demand only the finest wire and connectors. Our standard black RCA to RCA (or 1/4") cables use a special miniature sized cable (see Hi-Z2). If you want your cables in standard blue, purple, red, white or yellow, we use our standard instrument wire (see Hi-Z1). All the black and standard color RCA cables have the model number "RCA-(length)". Gold plated RCA connectors are available by using the model number "GRCA-(length)". |

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) cables are used in the transfer of digital information between musical devices (i.e. a keyboard or sequencer). Digital information is easier to preserve in signal transfer than analog. However Horizon uses the maximum shielding possible to assure that each bit of information is received in good condition. We also use our standard matte finish PVC jacket for durability and flexibility. We offer both 5 pin active and 3 pin active cables. The 3 pin cables are also available in neon colors. All MIDI cables use 5 pin connectors. The MIDI is wired 5 pins active to assure proper operation in any situation, while the MIDIC/MIDIN are 3 pins active (MIDI standard) for an economical solution. |
